The objective of the Carta arqueològica de Barcelona is to generate unified information of where all of the heritage documentation from our city is located in order to develop a document essentially focused on the analysis, diagnose and evaluation of stratigraphic deposits of subsoil and built heritage being closely knit to the urban administration of the City Council. A global documentation project has been created where you can find all the investigation with the diagnosis.

Apart from intervention cards, there are also unit cards. The unit card represents elements of interest or institutions with personality in the history of Barcelona, with its own characteristic features which can be given by both typology (Functional Unit) and also by its chronology (Temporal Unit).
